Main Entrance

  • The front entrance access has a wrought iron gate which leads onto a walled patio area and there is a step (52''wide by 74'' long by 5'' high) leading up to the main entrance and front door (standard size) of the cottage, Threshold step is 5'' deep, the door is hinged on the left and opens into the vestibule having a side window and cloak hooks, door mat and contrasting quarry tiled floor. Inner glass door opens into the open plan sitting room/dinging room
    having beamed ceiling and fitted short piled carpets through out.
    There is outside lighting as well as inside.
    There is good colour contrast between entrance and living room/dining room.

Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc

  • Adjacent to the sitting room the stairs as permanent iron wrought handrail,
    2 steps (first step is a little step (11''deep) to a small landing leading to the main stairs and landing
    off the landing are the main bedrooms and bathroom

  • Furnishings consist of a dining table and 4 chairs 2 with arms & 2 without, a two seated settee and 2 armchairs set around the gas fire which offers a cosy comfortable atmosphere for relaxing. There is also provided a LCD TV with freeview and CD radio player

  • Croft Cottage sleeps 2-4 people.
    The main bedroom has a double bed (4ft 6'), bedside lamp, general ambient light.
    The second bedroom has single twin beds (2ft 6') adult size. Bedside lamp, general ambient light
    both bedrooms are carpeted throughout, short pile.


  • The bathroom suite consists of a standard size bath with shower over, pedestal wash hand basin and toilet.
    Flooring is cushioned flooring.


  • The kitchen is well fitted out and has a 4 ringed gas cooker with extractor fan set in the cupboards above. The microwave is to the left of the cooker. There is a fridge with small freezer compartment at the top, which is situated under the work tops.
    There are plenty of storage cupboards at head height and good storage facilities below the work surface which are of standard height, pots and pans are stored in these cupboards, and the sink is stainless steel and has a mixer tap.
    There is no washing machine.
    There is a sliding glass door leading into the kitchen. (28''wide)

Grounds and Garden

  • There is a walled patio area to the front of the cottage with garden furniture and plant pots.
    Rear of cottage there is a pathway leading to the car parking area and street.
    The rear door has a step down (11.50''wide 35'' long 5'' deep) to the pathway.
    The door is hinged to the right. (32.25''wide)

  • There is a no smoking policy.

Updating the heating and hot water system with a new boiler, completed by 27th September 2008.
2 new windows completed by end of September.
